Princess Sienna and Sierra

Once upon a time there was a princess, called Sienna, living in a small, cold, room in the top of the tower of a castle deep in a huge, dark forest. Her father and mother was dead when she was 18 years old, in a war between her father, King Absalon and King Sloviak, who had attacked King Absalon because he wanted more land.

But that was not the only reason  for King Sloviak to attack King Absalon. King Sloviak was told by a fortuneteller that King Absalons daughter,  princess  Sienna, was the most beautiful princess in the whole world, and that King Sloviaks own daughter, Sierra, would die at the age of 18  because she would be offered a red, shining apple poisoned by an evil witch .  

At the day of Sierras 18 years birthday there came a handsome and strong lieutenant on his black horse to the castles gate and knocked at the gate. The only thing he had in his sack was apples from the forbidden apple tree  from the garden of Eden. He was ordered by a lady he served, Lilith , to go to King Sloviaks Castle with a letter to the King and the apples to give to princess Sierra. 

The guardian gave the letter to the King. He read it and understood, that this soldier was able to save his daughter  from her terrible fate.  The letter was with a seal from his fathers best friend and the lieutenant was told to be his son. The letter asked the king to give his daughter to the lieutenant to marry her. Princess Sierra was sitting on a balcony knitting and singing. She knew nothing, about what the fortuneteller had told her father, about her early death. And her father knew nothing about the story of Lilith, the witch, and that the letter was false.

The lieutenant, who's name was Abram, knew nothing about his Lads evil nature. Lilith was  a baroness  living in Italy. She was 50 years old and with an unearthly beauty and charm. The baron, King Sloviaks best friend had adored her  as he was alive. He died in a duel when his son was  14 .  

Abram was followed by a guard to princess Sierras apartment on the castle. She stopped knitting when she saw Abram. She went towards him and he bowed, kissed her hand and as a twinkling in a star he felt in love. She gasped and her heart began beating faster and faster. They began a conversation and soon they found out that they had so much to talk about. The lieutenant offered her a red, shining apple and she began to eat.  They had never tasted such an apple before. But after some seconds princess Sierra could not breath. She felt down on the floor and her skin color turned to deep blue. Abram did not know what to do. He laid his ear agains her breast and felt her pulse. She was stiff. And her body began to dissolve.

The room began to shake. Thunder and ripped lightening from the sky overwhelmed the lieutenant with fear. What kind of supernatural forces was he up against? Blood was dripping down the walls. The body of Sierra turned to ugly worms getting bigger and bigger.  What could he do. The one he loved -- where was she. He did not believe he was awake. It was a nightmare. A scary laughter  from nowhere filled the room. 

A guard opened the door to the room and dragged Abram out of the bewitched room into another  room in the castle. He felt into a deep,deep sleep. 

Then many years after the young man wake up in a forest at a lake with green fresh grass around. Birds were singing, the sun was shining, a fresh breeze cooled his naked torso.
A dow showed up and dropped a roll on the ground in the grass. He did not understand anything. Who was he. Where did he come from. What was his name. The only clothes he was wearing was leather pants. He raised, and got the roll of paper. It was a letter with an adorable handwriting. He began to read:

"My dearest Abram 

I am sitting in the tower of an ugly castle
I only get water and bread to eat
I am prisoned by an evil King

Follow the wind and come and rescue me
Follow the brightest star on the sky
Follow your heart

I am waiting for you
I know you are not far from me
Put the amulet in the roll
and nothing will harm you

Sienna"
